This Workshop is aimed at either Production Coordinators who want to consolidate their skills or for Production Secretaries keen to make the move up to Production Coordinator.

Over the course of one day, you will discuss and learn the key responsibilities of a Production Coordinator (whatever programme genre you work in) and undertake practical exercises and tutorials including:
- Key Skills and what makes a good Production Coordinator
- Call sheets and Production schedules
- Post Production Paperwork
- Working under pressure: How to Prioritise work load
- How to keep an accurate notebook
As well as covering other subjects such as: Risk Assessments and Health and Safety, release and location forms, music and archive clearance and any other issues you may like to discuss. There will also be the opportunity to discuss your own career plan and gain honest and realistic work advice.
Throughout the workshop you will be assessed by your course tutor on the following:
1. Attention to detail, spelling and organisation
2. Communication and team skills
3. Ability to support your Production Manager
4. Understanding of technical equipment from cameras to edit suites
