Liz Mills, founder of Top TV Academy, is a programme maker at the top of her profession. As Head of Reality TV for Endemol UK Productions – makers of Big Brother, Fame Academy and Changing Rooms – she launched Pet Rescue and The Salon and as Executive Producer at the BBC she ran Crimewatch UK and a host of other popular factual programmes.

Liz and her team of experienced TV professionals share a passion for TV production and a desire to develop and coach the next generation of talent.

Kate Curran founded the Academy with Liz and is a company director. Kate is responsible for future business development and marketing. Kate has a background in advertising and marketing and was Senior Account Director at WWAV Rapp Collins.

Ashe Hussain recently joined Top TV as Training Director. She currently manages the C4 training programmes as well as bespoke training for indies. Ashe was previously based in Glasgow where she worked as Project Manager at The Research Centre for three years. She had located to Glasgow to pursue a postgraduate degree in Molecular Genetics and this science job enabled her to join BBC Scotland. She worked as a Radio Producer for live, topical programmes before joining BBC's Television Features department. Ashe is a Board member of the Glasgow Film Theatre and on the Advisory Committee for the National Film & Television School.

Ruki Sidhwa is Projects Manager working across all training. Ruki helps manage the current raft of training projects as well as designing and developing new courses. Ruki has worked at the BBC for over 9 years during this time she produced and directed on Crimewatch UK, Watchdog Healthcheck and Children In Need. SHe went on to become a successful freelancer making programmes for Channel 4, BBC1 and Living. She has recently Produced See Hear for the BBC. Ruki is a member of The British Film Institute Associate Tutor Scheme.

Charlotte Survilla is the Membership Manager responsible for all the events, masterclasses and members. Charlotte runs a team and is constantly looking for new courses and new ideas to offer our members. We have a range of masterclasses put together by Charlotte but are always keen on feedback to support new creative thinking. Charlotte has worked as a producer across a range of factual programmes. She has a strong journalistic background with a particular interest in Crime.

Shemadene Edwards is the Membership Co-ordinator responsible for booking all masterclasses and events. Shem is in constant touch with all Top TV Members. Shem has worked across a range of programme productions from Endemol to Outline to Princess. She has a background in marketing and branding where she wrote design briefs and managed budgets. She was responsible for organising annual PR Conferences and has also been part of a sales team.
